Back... with a scanner!

Sat Jun 13, 2009, 5:10 PM
  • Listening to: Pretty Little Picture - Nathan Lane
  • Reading: Up the Down Staircase
  • Watching: I don't want to reset my DTV box right now..
  • Playing: Like five video games... FFVIII, FFX-2, SM64?
  • Eating: Nothing
  • Drinking: Snapple Peach Green Tea (:.
So, I left dA a while back (for the... fourth time now?) because my printer/scanner finally gave out. Now I have a shiny new Canon printer/scanner, a laptop, and a tablet, so I'm back in action!

Me and a friend are having a little "we're all winner" type of competition over the summer, so things that I'm scanning will be of varying nature (unintentional pun) and stuff I've never really tried before. I hope they help me in my improvement, which I know they will.

I always get a kick out of looking through my old sketchbooks... and I forgot I had my entire gallery in storage! Woah, that's stuff from like fourth grade! Crazy. So I allowed access to the best of my older stuff, and I'd really like it if some people poked around back there (:.

AND AND AND Gary Beach is at the Music Circus as Nathan Detroit lolwat. My favorite actor from the "beginning to like musicals, but I don't really know anything" is performing at my local theatre? YES. LOVE. Can't wait. It only makes me wish Detroit was more of a singing role.

So what's up, dA friends? I don't have the patience to read through all of your journals ):.

Does anyone like Fringe? I'm so alone in this...

I'm sure... I'll be uploading stuff whenever I do things. I'll upload any Sweeney/Assassins scribbles up just for you in the scraps haha.

My annual visit to an actual professional musical theatre is coming up in a month like woah!

And I read Dracula a few months ago, and I have to say my favorite character was Renfield :D. I also saw one of the old movie versions (I think it was Lon Cheney's version? Could be wrong...) and he was so kyoot.
:iconnoldowise:
Thankies ^__^

Oooh sounds like fun! I get to see Evil Dead the Musical next week, didn't get splatter tickets though :/

How can anyone not love Renfield? :D

Lon Cheney was never in Dracula :O You probably saw Nosferatu, anyway you have to see Dwight Frye as Renfield in the 1931 version. He has gained quite a cult following (even a community on live journal!)
